The following studies on the ministry of the Holy Spirit seek to examine the positive and negative impact of the Charismatic renewal movement upon the Christian church. For some reason the ministry of the Holy Spirit was played down by the mainline denominations and so it was left to the Charismatic renewal movement to awaken revival. In our day the Holy Spirit has touched the wider Christian church and so like our Charismatic brothers and sisters, we too look to Jesus to renew and gift us through his Spirit.
