A Liturgy of Healing
Healing: body, mind and spirit |
Stand........... THE GREETING The Lord be with you And also with you Sit................. SENTENCE I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matt.18:18-19. I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief. In the power of the indwelling Christ we reach out in prayer. Prayer changes things for we know that Christ's love transforms, and we are Christ to this broken world. Yet the shadows of this present moment often hide the brilliance of the coming age. In that day every tear will be wiped away, but in this day.... Sometimes we see the circumstances around us transformed, but often we can't see past the shadows. Yet every time we reach out in Christ's name and touch our broken world, there is change. Often unseen, for the movement of the shadows leaves little to behold. Yet always there is the brilliance of the dawning glory of another age. The shadows fade in that radiant light. Kneel................. PRAYER OF PREPARATION COLLECT Sit.........
