4th Sunday after Epiphany A

Faith, Hope and Love

Sentence
What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

Collects
Lord, you have taught us that whatever we do without love is worth nothing: send your Holy Spirit and pour into our hearts that most excellent gift of love, the true bond of peace and of all virtues, without which whoever lives is counted dead before you; grant this, for your only Son Jesus Christ's sake. Amen. BCP. Quinquagesima

Let us pray [for a greater love of God and of our fellows.]
Lord our God, help us to love you with all our hearts and to love all people as you love them. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

Living God, in Christ you make all things new: transform the poverty of our nature by the riches of your grace, and in the renewal of our lives make known your glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. APBA
