Ministers and stewards of the gospel

Sentence
In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and trust shall be your strength. Isaiah 30:16

Collects
Lord Jesus Christ, at your first coming you sent your messenger to prepare the way before you: grant that the ministers and stewards of your mysteries may likewise make ready your way, by turning the hearts of the disobedient to the ways of righteousness, that at your second coming to judge the world we may be found an acceptable people in your sight; for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen. BCP. Advent 3

Let us pray [to be kept faithful in the service of God]
Lord, be merciful to your people. Fill us with your gifts and make us always eager to serve you in faith, hope and love. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB

Eternal God, you draw near to us in Christ and make yourself our guest: amid the cares of our daily lives, make us attentive to your voice, and alert to your presence, that we may treasure your word above all else. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen. APBA
