Finding favour with God

Sentence
      Let us continually offer a sacrifice of praise to God, that is the fruit of lips that confess his name. Hebrews 13:15

      Almighty and everlasting God, you are always more ready to hear than we to pray, and constantly give more than either we desire or deserve: pour down on us the abundance of your mercy, forgiving us those things of which our conscience is afraid, and giving us those good things which we are not worthy to ask, except through the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ, your Son our Lord.       Let us pray [that God will increase our faith and bring to perfection the gifts he has given us.]
      Almighty God, every good thing comes from you. Fill our hearts with love for you, increase our faith and by your constant care preserve in us the good you have given us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. AAPB
 
      O God, you invite the humble and the sinful to take their place in the festival assembly of the new covenant: teach your church always to honour the presence of Jesus in all the members of our fellowship, rich and poor alike, so that we may learn to recognize each other as brothers and sisters gathered together around your table. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. adp. APBA
