Sunday: Ordinary 23A, Proper 18A

Christian freedom

Sentence
'Where two or three are gathered in my name', says the Lord, 'I am there among them.' Matthew 18:20

Collects
Lord, we pray, absolve your people from their offences; that through your bountiful goodness we may be set free from the chains of those sins which in our frailty we have committed; grant this, heavenly Father, for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen. BCP. Trinity 24

Go before us, O Lord, and further us with your continual help, that in all our works, begun, continued, and ended in you, we may glorify your holy name, and finally, by your mercy, obtain everlasting life; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen. APBA
